Most of the foreign team arrived in Colombo this morning for the start of the 2014 field season of the Godavaya Shipwreck Excavation Project in Sri Lanka. We arrive with eagerness to continue our truncated work from the 2012-13 field season, with both old hands and fresh faces, and with great hope for a fruitful time on site.
