Fee Summary & Donor Advice

Institute of Nautical Archaeology

is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization; U.S. donors are eligible to receive a tax deduction for gifts to INA.

Online payments are one of the most convenient ways for INA to receive gifts, however they are also the costliest. This is from the associated processing fees attached to payments made via VISA/ Discover/ MasterCard/ ACH / PayPal, etc. For this reason, we recommend personal checks for larger gifts made to INA (>$1000), as they have no accompanying fees attached.

Ways to give to the Institute of Nautical Archaeology and the associated fees with each payment method include the following:

Best Option

By check, which incurs NO FEE
