A reminder that applications for 2025 funding from INA (and reports from those who received funding in 2024) are due October 1. Funding sources include, but are not limited to, the Claude Duthuit Archaeology Grant, the Fred and BJ van Doorninck Byzantine Shipwreck Grant, the INA Discovery Fund, and the George and Ann Bass Endowment for Nautical Archaeology Publications. The $30,000 Claude Duthuit Grant is INA’s largest single annual award, followed by the $25,000 George and Ann Bass Publication Grant.
Application instructions and a list of previous recipients can be found on the INA website. Completed applications should be submitted via e-mail to info@nauticalarch.org. Review of applications will begin immediately with award decisions expected in November.
