Join us on  Wednesday, November 29 (not November 15, as previously advertised), at 12:00 pm Central (Texas) Time, please join us for a ZOOM Webinar with INA Affiliated Scholar Kroum Batchvarov (University of Connecticut) on the 19th-century shipwreck at Cape Urdoviza, Bulgaria. Kroum will discuss the results of the 2023 field season, which exposed the ship’s stern and brought to light pieces of an Ottoman/Balkan-style folding table, ceramic jugs, coffee cups, and a brazier. One of the most interesting finds is a carved wooden plaque with inscriptions that suggest the ship was owned by Christians.
